Description

By Nhayo, Pearson Yoram, 2018 -- "God’s creation is diverse, multicultural and Many Colors. Every creature, including the human being, is unique in its type to fulfill God's purpose in that creature. In such uniqueness, differences in ideas, opinions, and priorities are inevitable. The existence of the conflict, war, and pride among the people in this world, reflects a failure to recognize and respect difference. Such difference is also present in the church of Tanzania. The church of the Anglican Diocese of Ruaha, the focus of this work, has many tribes and cultures represented. In one way or another, the mission of God in the Diocese has encountered challenges because the priests lack the knowledge to incorporate cross-cultural and intercultural aspects of ministry. In this introduction, I will give my personal narrative as an illustrating foundation to the first and second Chapter of the project where theological issues will be explored. Finally, I will prepare six training sessions appropriate for the clergy of the Diocese of Ruaha which might also be used with clergy of other dioceses in Tanzania."
